Schoultz’s Lo-Fi Motel

Yes, I know that the movie 300 was essentially a work of fiction based on the graphic novel from Frank Miller, but still that flick plucks a man’s heart-strings like nothing other than perhaps Field of Dreams.  Still, King Leonidas was by way of history very real, as was the Persian intuders, and there were 300 Spartan  troops that faced them, fell, and were granted immortality.  And King Leo and the 300 Spartans with him on that fated tour of duty were grade A+ bad-asses that were born to lose and did not give a good goddamn.  Women for the most part hate the film 300.  Well, I shouldn’t say that.  My sister Julie loved it, but she is not your average broad.  I will say that I own the deluxe DVD, and the excellent quote, “Spartans!  Ready up your breakfast and eat hearty…for tonight we dine…IN HELL!” is one of those quotes that make me make it through a lousy monday.  Thank you, King L.  Need a He-Man testosterone boost?  Rent the movie 300 tonight.
